Why Co-build?

To deliver 10x value, you need to find the unique product concepts that create differentiation — the core intentions, the proprietary logic, the architecture that makes your product dramatically better than alternatives.

You cannot find this from the outside. You cannot find it through surveys, demos, or sales conversations. You find it by going deep with a few customers — deep enough to understand their reality at a level they might not fully understand themselves.

Co-building is how you get there.

What Co-building Is

Co-building is an iterative process through which you discover the customer's ground truth in detail. You map user patterns, workflows, and expertise. You uncover domain knowledge that isn't written down. You identify the layers of your product and the right angle to ship a first cut of the whole layered cake.

The process is not linear. It moves through cycles:

  1. Map the existing reality — Users, patterns, workflows, pain points. In detail. Not the official process, but how things actually work.
  2. Form "what if" hypotheses — On value, on user behavior, on technical approach. What could be 10x better? What would change everything?
  3. Research the data — What information, access, or domain knowledge do you need to test this hypothesis? Go get it.
  4. Ship something — A prototype, a first cut, a testable slice of the vision.
  5. Iterate — Learn from what worked and what didn't. Refine the hypothesis. Go again.

Each cycle gets you closer to the core — the unique concepts and logic that will define your product.

Collaboration Over Contractualization

The mindset of co-building is simple: customer collaboration over contractualization.

Traditional enterprise sales starts with scope, pricing, and contracts. Co-building inverts this. The belief is: show 10x value first, then figure out how to monetize it.

This requires a different kind of customer buy-in. Not a signed contract. Not a purchase order. Something harder to get and more valuable:
