fabriq case
You are a startup, it's too risky for us
What if you go bankrupt?
Fabriq is a young company with a strong team and backed by one of the leading French consulting firm in Industry (Opeo Conseil = 30/40 consultants based in Paris). Our vision is to build the new generation digital tool for industrial teams. We are very ambitious and after only 3 months of proof of concept, we already have 4 companies using and paying for our solution.
In case Fabriq goes bankrupt or stops its activity, we can include a clause in the contract and SLA, with a commitment to deliver the application code that the client can install on its own server to maintain de use of the sotware.
What if the product is down
Our term of use include an uptime clause and penalties.
We also provide SLA in the frame contract with guarrantees regarding the availability and the performance of the service. Lastly, you always have the ability to escape the contract if you are not happy with the performance of the service.
SaaS ? what is SaaS ?
Advantages of SasS
We don't want to pay a subscription, it's too expensive
If you add all the costs (dev + integration + maintenance + upgrade), SaaS is much cheaper. Also take into account the benefit of being completely flexible as there is no commitment, you only pay if you are happy with the product and usage.

We want to own the software
Why ?
What is the benefit of owning the software ? dig into the objection: security & confidentiality reasons? Is it due to the group policy? Is it to adapt to your specific processes / needs : what is so specific that you need?
In the end owning a software requires to take care of the maintenance and deal with potential bugs and integration issues. Also, you own something completely static, as there is no evolution, additionnal feature of upgrade. This is why a SaaS is more adapted to an enterprise need : it is cheaper, easier to use on a daily basis and it improves and gains features over time.
What if the product changes for another client ?
Future evolutions of the product will always be additional features or improvement. We will always make sure that the solution that you pay for keeps all its features so you do not lose anything is can of version upgrade.
See this as an opporutnity, the product will also evolve based on your requests and recommandations. Our deployement and customer success teams continuously passes your feedback to our product team in order to ship new features and make the product better for your usage.
Once we have signed the contract, you will not take care of us anymore
You will have a dedicated account manager and weekly / monthly calls or meeting in the first weeks. Our target is to make sure you are actually using the product since we are based on a subscription / no commitment business model. We can specify these conditions in the SLAs if you want more reassurance on our service.
I don't want my competitors to use the same tool
We ensure a full confidentiality over our customers information and data and if you want we can make our collaboration fully confidential.
However, since our mission is to work with factories and industrial groups, we cannot guarantee that none of your competitors would be one of our clients someday. As
If you want to keep a "first mover advantage", we can make sure that you fully use the solution and work together in order to maximize the impact on your performance. It is certainly more important for you to improve your performance than to wonder about your competitor's.
Can you explain why this is a deal breaker for you? Who would be directly concerned?
The MVP is too basic
This is the first vesion of our application. We made it basic on purpose in order to tackle the core of our user's pain : make problem solving easier, quicker and more collaborative. We have a long list of features that we plan to add over the coming months and we would be happy to share the roadmap.
What specific feature do you feel is missing?
Integration with other existing solutions and partners
This is also in the roadmap. We believe that at some point the Fabriq solution will need to connect to other tools in order to be always more intuitive, collaborative and easy to use.
What kind of integration do you have in mind?
What is the added value of Fabriq compared to an MES?
ERP : SAP, Odoo (https://youtu.be/xrf7zIACGvw)
