With user research and journey maps completed, the team consolidates its findings into a Product One-Pager — a clear, one-page charter defining what will be built, why, and how AI fits in.
This document (often a Markdown file) contains seven key blocks:
Together, these blocks create alignment on scope, accountability, and measurable success.
Using the one-pager as a framework, the team runs structured brainstorming sessions to generate and prioritize solutions.
HMW Questions (How-Might-We)
Research insights are reframed as opportunity questions — e.g. “How might we make it effortless for users to validate AI outputs?”
AI co-pilots can assist by generating variations or refinements, which the team then curates for relevance and clarity.
Rapid Ideation with AI
AI tools such as ChatGPT are treated as creative partners, generating a wide range of potential solutions in minutes.
Designers and PMs review, merge, and expand these ideas, ensuring feasibility and strategic fit.
Prioritization via Value/Effort Matrix
Each idea is rated by user value and implementation effort (including AI risk and complexity).
High-value / low-effort → Quick wins
High-value / high-effort → Strategic bets
Low-value → Discarded or deferred
This matrix keeps the roadmap focused and high-signal.
