The Build Process is how we systematically create ventures that reach product-market fit, and the companies capable of scaling them.
It is a stage-gate methodology designed around one conviction: the actions you take must match the stage you're in. Premature scaling kills startups. Building the wrong thing kills startups. Avoiding hard truths about market reality kills startups. Our process is engineered to prevent these failure modes.
The process covers product, revenue, team, and finance, but these are not parallel workstreams. They are sequenced deliberately. Each phase has a clear focus, defined deliverables, and a gate that must be passed before the next phase begins. The gate enforces honesty: you cannot move forward by assuming progress. You must demonstrate it.
This is the result of seven iterations and 20 ventures. It encodes our collective learnings about what works, what doesn't, and what questions must be answered at each stage. It continues to evolve.
